Aim’s wedding
by aRc49 on Jan.31, 2009, under aRcLife
Yippie…the connection is back on. Somehow the Celcom 3G could not connect to this domain for a few days.
Finally, I got some time to blog. The whole week I was so busy and not around at home much. The six days holiday for the Chinese New Year was fulled with ‘makan angin’ here and there. I went to KL to attend my friend’s wedding on the 24th. He is Aimran, the BWP President during my stay at MJSC Lenggong. Mind you he’s 21! This was followed by other events, but I’m not gonna elaborate on that yet. So, check out my KL trip…
On the Friday (23rd January), I took a train from Sungai Petani to Kuala Lumpur. The train departed at 1930hrs. Funny thing about the train was that, my brother who was from Arau went down from the same train that I boarded. Seem like an exchange…hihihi. Anyhow, the train was packed with passengers mainly students (I guess) heading back to their respective hometowns. The train was expected to arrive tomorrow morning (24th January) at 0520hrs. I preferred the train to bus since I was not in a hurry. Besides, I would want to enjoy the ride since I took the bed seat.
Around 2030hrs, the train was somewhere in Seberang Perai. I started to call a friend (a ’special’ one indeed….hehehe) and talked on and on. It was 2200hrs when suddenly the line got disconnected. It always happened; I don’t know whether it’s my line or hers. Guess the line got jealous somehow. By that time, I was hungry. So, I made my way to the canteen coach. There were variety of foods on sale, but the Nasi Beriyani caught my eye. I paid the cashier RM6.00 and went back to my seat. The dish was only a piece of chicken curry but it satisfied my hunger. Much to my disappointment, my phone battery went low. So, I decided to turn it off and planned to charge it later when I’ve arrived. Soon enough, I fell asleep but was awaken few times upon reaching the destination.

I’ve arrived at the KL Sentral at 0530hrs and yes, the station was still dark and nobody around. I made my down to the bathroom only to find it would be open only from 0630hrs. Since the surau was also full with other people, I decided to sit down next to an information kiosk which had a electrical socket that I charged my phone with. After bath and Subuh prayer, I’ve bought two sandwiches for my breakfast and Star newspaper as a company while I waited for Yob & Dwan to pick me up.
I waited an waited. It was not until 11 o’clock I got a SMS from my friend saying that he’s on the way. Luckily, during waiting for them, I bumped into Angga, a friend of mine at UTP. He kept me company for a while. He said that he was on his way to meet his friend at KL. He left me when his friend had arrived at around 11 o’clock. Finally, at 11.30, I got to meet Yob. We went down to meet Dwan who was waiting in the car. Also in the car was Azwa. The journey was then continued to University LRT station where we had earlier agreed to meet the others. We also picked up Syahir over here.
From there, we began to proceed to Aimran’s house. The convoy included Raja, Shy, Nana, Ilma, Fendi, and Yazli. There were some others, but we would meet them at the kenduri.

From left: Dwan, Yob, Yazli, Syahir
At the kenduri, we met the others, Syed, Paan, Saiful, Haizat, Azreen, Intan, Safra, Shak, Syam, and Aainaa. Seemed like a long time ago we’ve last met. Everybody had something to talk about to each other, but for me, the food came first! I had to eat since my stomach was rumbling throughout the journey (I’ve just had only sandwich for breakfast, mind you!). After eating, we’ve gone to meet the bridegroom and his bride. It was only a brief chat since they had others to attend to also. We’ve managed to take a few pictures with the couple and then went back to our table.

We left the kenduri at around 3.00p.m. Syed was going back straight to USM, Saiful also had to send some people, while Syahir, Yob, Fendi, Azreen, Intan and I headed to Sunway Pyramid. Dwan also went back to send Azwa after dropping Syahir and I off at the Pyramid. It was my first time reaching there and I taught that the place was amazing. We did not do much there, just a stroll here and there and watched Underworld 3. Syahir and I left the place at around 8.00pm and headed straight to Jeno’s house at Mentari Court. Upon arriving I was very tired. After taking my dinner, I went straight to sleep.

Singa yang melihat adalah masa depan yang cemerlang - Zint. Sounds familiar?
On the 25th, I’d have to catch my bus at 12.30pm. I left Jeno’s house around 9.00a.m. and arrived at KL Sentral around 10.30a.m. From the Sentral, Dwan sent me to Duta bus station. During waiting for my bus, I’ve met Fendi (and his fiancée) and also Paan. At 12.45pm, I boarded my bus and arrived at Sungai Petani at around 6.00p.m.
Even if the journey was very tiring, I still enjoyed it. Nothing could compare hanging out with friends, especially if you did not meet them for a long time. I wished that I could meet them more often. Reason being that I went back home the next day because my cousin’s wedding was on the 26th. Wouldn’t want to miss it!
At last…..

Assalamualaikum….
Yeahuuuu. Finally, I blog again. It’s been awhile since my last post (come to think about it, the last one was at 2006!). I was using Friendster’s blog then, till it somehow ‘disappear’. Plus with my desire to blog only comes when everything is perfect (Internet at my campus was very² slow), so it halted there.
So, since my first writings here is in the early 2009, I think it’s not too late yet to wish everybody a Happy New Year. Hehehe. Somehow the Celcom 3G connection today is very good. I managed to finish download an episode of CSI:NY (wuhoo). In fact, I’ve just finished watching it with my parents. Mama fell asleep though, tired I guess.
I’m currently in my 3rd year 2nd sem of my studies at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. Right now, I’m doing my industrial internship for 8 months here in Sungai Petani. I am attached to a 18-storey condominium project called ‘Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H).’ Currently the project has reached its 16th floor. I wonder will it be completed by the time I finished my internship that is in July. Daily routine includes: waking up early in the morning, be at the site by 0800hrs, return home for lunch (hehehe…), and return back home at 1730hrs. Basically my day goes like that. Yup, it’s tiring to be at the site but I am enjoying every minute of it. Seeing things been done here and there, it’s been wonderful! What I’ve seen at the site, is not the same with what I’ve learnt throughout my year of studies in the uni. Some of it I have never known of! Thank goodness a little piece of experience collected when I participated in the JPS Concrete Canoe Competition helped me to familiarize with the process.
I guessed that will do it for tonight. Insyaallah, during my free time I will update the blog from time to time.
Adios
P/S: I’m ‘new’ to this blog thing. Will be working on the blog’s appearances in the coming future.
